We pretty much slept all day. I know I was asleep more than I was awake. The doctor called and said my test results were negative. They think I probably tested too soon after the onset of symptoms, and are instructing me to quarantine as if I have it.

Tonight’s dinner is salmon filets and twice baked potatoes. We’ll see how much we manage to eat. Mostly we munch on things. Gatorade has been our main source of caloric intake. So far we both still have our sense of taste and smell. Our main symptoms are cough and fatigue with a side of headache. Still… there’s always a general lack of appetite with cold/ flu.

So far I have maintained possession of the remote controls. We’ll see how long that lasts. We watched/ slept through two movies and half of season 16 of The Amazing Race. Tonight we’re supposed to watch American Gods during dinner if we’re both alert enough.

Mark has been playing up his positive COVID results. We both feel about the same, but when we both wanted the other to take the dogs out he definitely said:
“But you’re negative and I have COVID”

We’re currently taking turns getting up and doing things.

Overall we’re hanging in there, getting plenty of rest, and checking on each other frequently. The most exciting thing that happened today was our dog busting through the fence. We got him back with some coaxing, neither of us has the energy to fix it or chase him so it looks like leashes and the front yard will be the order of business for a while.

Stay tuned tomorrow for more unexciting and mundane antics.
